We hate meetings!

Meetings are the best way to know what the rest of the company is working on, but we do everything we can to keep them to a minimum so we can get back to work.

Daily Async Standup

Weekdays, 10:00a Pacific Time

A short ‘standup’ where we quickly cover things everyone might need to know: current critical issues, recent releases, whether someone needs help with their work, or company-wide announcements.

Town Hall

Every other Thursday, 12:30p - 1:30p Pacific Time

The entire company gets together to hear about what has happened in the last two weeks. The exact content varies, but it consistently includes an update from each team (sales, customer support, project teams, etc.) and a Q&A session at the end. Some occasional appearances include a customer using Poll Everywhere in a particularly interesting way, updates on company finances, or information on upcoming events that could affect everybody.

Scrutineering

Every Tuesday, 9:30a - 11:00a Pacific Time

A time to discuss engineering-specific issues. If we had any major incidents in the past week, we discuss what went wrong and how we can avoid it in the future. We rotate who will be on call for any after-hours incidents in the upcoming week. We share any announcements, teaching presentations or demos of a technical nature. We wrap up by discussing ideas on how we can improve our processes.
